Prayer is simply "communication with God".  The Prayer Department at DIOS is purely dedicated to doing just that - communing with God.  Under the leadership of seasoned ministers of God, completely dedicated to praying without ceasing, the prayer group solely communes and intercedes on behalf of everyone.

 

Pray without ceasing (I Thessalonians 5:17)

 

Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. (James 5:16)

 

Vision of the Prayer Department

 

"Communicating, Conveying and Connecting with God on behalf of all".

 

How?

 

Matthew 16:19

"And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."

 

The key given in the above verse is what we use to pray.  Our prayer centers on the will of God, interceding for the people that are hurting and the desires of their hearts.  The Bible told us that the prayer of a sinner is like an abomination to God, hence we stand in the gap for sinners or people who has no relationship with Him.  We conduct various prayer sessions within the boundaries of the Worship Center and anywhere there is a need - hospitals, prisons, group homes, shelter etc.
