Ghana was our 1st advanced missionary trip.  We visited twice in one year.  We helped complete a church building, bought land for a church, started an elementary school, provided and paid for a principal, supported 65 local pastors. 

Our goal for Ghana is to help improve education and access to it.  Many of the children we sent to school ranged in ages from 10 to 19 years, and none of them had ever attended any school.  The challenge for the girls is that, as soon as they are of age, they begin to have children, and the cycle of poverty and failure continues.

 

Other support we provide for Ghana, includes establishing small scale fishing businesses for local fishermen around the Volta Region; connecting power supply for some pastors in rural areas. 

The help provided by our church made a big difference in the lives of the children, the pastors and the families with the new business venture.

With your support, we can continue this help, ensuring the kids stay in school, the families has means of sustaining themselves, and the pastors receive a small token of appreciation for their services.
